Files are missing after installing the latest Windows 10 update. Has anyone noticed that since installing today's update that the pictures and documents folders under THIS PC have been changed? I've lost all the pictures and docs that I had in those folders. If you notice that your Books/iBooks are missing after the most recent upgrade, but can’t see pdf files in the Apple Books, while the Books shows that pdf files downloaded (example: I am trying to download an e-pub to i-books. After update all my pdfs etc. are still there but no longer comes up as a option for downloading. Sorry to know that the files are missing after Windows update. I will certainly help you. After checking processes table via task manager I found out that there are two processes running in the background "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (32 bit)". It is +2 after trying to open another PDF file / Reader DC. I have also experienced this same problem on different machines.
